Drive to Stöckalp SMF-lsm and take the lift up the hill (or hike, if you prefer).
You could possibly turn this also to a multi-day hike. This could make a beautiful 2 day hike in 3 cantons from Melchsee-Frutt (Obwalden) along Engstlensee (Bern) via Jochpass to Trüebsee (Niedwalden). Sleeping is possible at Trübsee Alpine Lodge. From there, there are possibilities to get to the famous Titlis or go down to Engelberg from where there are tons of other hiking possibilities. This is what it could look like (plenty of minor variations possible):
The photos from my recent mini hike were taken along this trails:
Clouds, clouds and clouds
The weather was supposed to be bad. Some rain and showers included. It was cloudy, but luckily without rain. And I love the look of the clouds anyway. And I personally rather prefer 10 degrees than 30 during the hike.
